On Air returns to its radio days routes as a new podcast, with fresh performances of the songs you know and love. This coming November marks the 100th Anniversary of Mass broadcasting, and to celebrate this achievement, we want to go back to where it all began - Frank and Flora Conrad’s Garage in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On Air tells how from humble beginnings, Frank and Flora Conrad started broadcasting in their garage, eventually leading to the formation of KDKA, the first radio station. This show, originally commissioned by and premiered at Creative Cauldron in 2019, was supposed to be performed at Duquesne University Theatre in Pittsburgh this Fall, but due to the global pandemic, we have shifted the story telling to their favorite medium - radio!

Access to the broadcast is free, (though your support is appreciated). Register today for a ticket, and the day before the broadcast, you'll get a secure link to the audio play on our YouTube channel. You can stream the project anytime between 7:00 pm - 1:00 am EST on November 16th or 23rd.
