A Virtual Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol is one of the most recognizable and beloved Christmas tales written by Charles Dickens that tells the story of old miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. After his incredible Christmas Eve, Scrooge becomes a kinder, gentler man. First published in 1843 there have been many different versions over the years including in 1939 when Orson Welles performed it at the Campbell Playhouse. This year Belle Fourche Area Community Theater will be performing this version as a radio play on December 17 at 7:00 pm.

To keep our actors, community and audience safe we will be doing something different than past years’ Christmas shows, we will be livestreaming this radio drama on YouTube. The cast and crew is so excited to share this new kind of experience with you. For just $5 per household you will be sent a link where you can watch the show - live! You can purchase tickets online here - on December 17 at around 6:45 pm you will be sent via email a link to the livestream. If you don’t receive your link please contact director@bellefourcheact.com.
