Beginning on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 7:00 pm, BCT will present bi-monthly Staged Readings of short plays written by local playwrights, performed & directed by local talent. The FREE performances will be streamed on YouTube, and available for three hours for one night only.

February 11, 2021 • With Valentine’s Day in mind, we’re featuring two short comedies (less than 15 minutes each) about longtime couples struggling to keep the romance alive.

“The Pause”

Bickering couple Phil and Shirley are finding it harder and harder to understand each other, until unseen forces help them to connect in a way they couldn’t have predicted.

“Game Nite”
Written by Valerie Kavanaugh
Directed by Donna Motta

A long-married couple plays a game that unexpectedly brings up unresolved resentments. Can they re-focus their reminiscences on the love and shared experiences that have kept them together over the years?
