Brazilian Rhythms: Virtual Community Workshop

Leonardo Sandoval and Gregory Richardson use body percussion to introduce participants to some of the most common Brazilian claves (rhythmic patterns), like samba, maracatú, bossa nova, and more. Participants will learn various rhythm combos derived from these claves and build a poly-rhythmic piece, accompanied by Greg's bass playing. This class will be taught bilingually in English and Portuguese. All ages and levels are welcome to attend!
