Silence is Violence: The Future of the Field (A Web Series)

In a three-part web series devised by students from Howard University’s Department of Theatre Arts, three up-and-coming Black theater artists must grapple with racism, tokenism, and ethics while collaborating on a theater project commissioned by a white-led theater company. Will they come together and stay true to their art or cave under the pressures of the industry?

Written and performed by Autumn Angelettie, Ayanna Fowler, and Jaucqir LaFond and directed by Farah Lawal Harris, with sound design by Kevin Alexander and video editing by Anthony Amos.
