Art & Wine: The Science of Color

The Creative Arts Guild is excited to have Guild Instructor, Paint Maker, and Artist Sarah Malone join us for an Art & Wine on Thursday, May 27 at 6 pm. Sarah, who has spent the last 4 years working closely with fine art paint manufacturer Cranfield Colours Ltd in the United Kingdom, will be giving a talk on the science and history of color. This evening will be for painters and chromatophiles alike, and all will leave having learned something new from the chemistry of paint, to the traditional processes of how oil paint has been made, to even learning to identify a paint type by its smell. Come join us for a lighthearted evening enjoyed with a glass of wine and a complimentary tube of oil paint.
