24th STreet Theatre is thrilled to announce the return of the Saturday Explorer Series, a sophisticated series for children and families that has presented 94 performances of theatre, dance, music, poetry, and puppetry since 1998.

Our 2021 Explorer Series continues our exploration of the world through art featuring four professional storytellers sharing tales from around the globe. This year’s series will take place online on four consecutive Saturdays in May from 12:30pm PT to 1:15pm PT. Best for ages 6-10 but recommended for the entire family.

May 1: Anansi the Spider and Akan Folklore - Al Bostick shares stories from Africa and the African diaspora.
May 8: Morning Stories with my Abuelo - Santino Jimenez shares stories from Mexico, told in English and Spanish.
May 15: Love and Magic - Bennett Schneider shares stories from the United Kingdom and Western Europe.
May 22: Mythology, Magic, and Miracles - Ramayana - Shivani Thakkar shares stories from East India.
