From the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock, "The 39 Steps" is a hilarious, comedic, and faithful rendering of this classic mystery thriller. Four actors portray some 30+ roles. Our leading man, Richard Hannay, meets a mysterious woman at a London music hall. After witnessing her murder, he becomes entangled in solving the crime, proving his innocence, and breaking up a spy ring about to sell government secrets.
