Activism and the Arts—Community Conversation (Online)

Throughout his art and life George Ryga was an advocate and activist for social justice. For some, the arts are a diversion, entertainment and escape; for others the arts are a platform for actively amplifying themes, systems and stories that challenge current thinking or societal patterns.

With diverse, multi-disciplinary guest artists sharing their experiences, and space for all to participate, we’ll explore the dynamic relationship between the arts and activism in this community conversation.
