The [Uncertain] Four Seasons is an algorithmic re-composition of Vivaldi’s ‘The Four Seasons’. Developed by composers, musicians, climate and computer scientists using geospatial climate predictions for 2050.

Dip into the music you know and love and experience it changed to reflect our very own Saskatoon climate thirty years from now.

Maestra Genevieve Leclair joins the SSO to lead not only the Uncertain Four Seasons, but also music by Beth Denisch and Jessie Montgomery.

Violinist Kerry DuWors returns home to Saskatoon to give this heart stopping performance. And rapper Lindsay Knight updates the Four Seasons poetry to reflect a call to action.

On November 1, 2021, in the hours leading up to COP26 in Glasgow, orchestras from around the world will perform their variation of The [Uncertain] Four Seasons in a global, 24-hour streaming event that aims to place further pressure on leaders to sign the Leaders Pledge for Nature, and commit to reversing biodiversity loss by 2050. We’re proud to have the SSO’s filmed performance be part of this international day of consideration for our future.

All Ticket Holders will need to provide proof of vaccination and photo ID along with their ticket to gain entry to all SSO events. Also acceptable will be a PCR test taken within 72 hours of the concerts, or an antigen test taken within 24 hours of the concert. We do not provide testing.

This performance will be without intermission, and will be live streamed on ConcertStream.tv
