'Early' at Zidell
Restaged for the National Arts Center in Mexico City at the Festival Internacional De Danza Contemporánea De La Ciudad De México (FIDCDMX), push/FOLD presents 'Early' for Portland at Zidell Yards.
Join push/FOLD on Friday and Saturday July 30 & 31 for our first live performance after a long hiatus and our final show before our first-ever international tour to Mexico! Immediately following the performances, join the director and the dancers of push/FOLD in an artist-talk and Q&A.
Send us off well, and join us in supporting our upcoming third annual Union PDX festival programming this November at the Hampton Opera Center.
From the vision of composer-choreographer Samuel Hobbs, 'Early' effortlessly bridges athletic and fast-paced dance performance and tensile partnering, It is a solemn reflection within an intense and fluid soundscape of synthetic and natural instruments—"its mood like a modern-day Haydn" (Bob Hicks, Oregon Arts Watch).
Show length is approx. 60 minutes without an intermission.
'Early' at Zidell is family friendly.
