Sophie is getting married soon and has a dream of being walked down the aisle by her father, a man whose name she does not know. When she discovers her mother Donna was romancing three men 9 months before her birth, Sophie invites the three men to her wedding with the hope of discovering which is her father. The music of ABBA interweaves with this story of friendship and love.
