Greater Tuna
by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, Ed Howard
October 1-10
Fridays & Saturdays @ 7:30pm; Sundays @ 2pm.
Produced by Hatbox Theatre.
The long-running Off Broadway hit features two actors creating the entire population of Tuna in a tour de farce of quick change artistry, changing costumes and characterizations faster than a jack rabbit runs from a coyote. Two actors, twenty characters, and a barrel of laughs, y’all.
This caricature of small town living, Greater Tuna may at times remind you of life here in New England. With something zany, crazy, funny, touching, and goofy, this show has something for everyone.
Greater Tuna was originally produced in 1981 and has become one of the most produced plays in American theatre history.
This production marks a reunion as Andrew Pinard and Eric Stanley reprise the roles they portrayed at the Annichiarico Music Theatre in 1991.
