The time is mid-70’s, the place, New York. John, a playwright, has returned to his family’s home, bringing with him his new play which was based on them! His purpose is to get their permission to proceed with production, but his wealthy, very proper parents are cautious from the start. Plus, John’s sister Nina must be contended with. As the martinis start to flow so do the recriminations and revelations, both funny and poignant. But the ties that bind them do prevail, with humor, warmth, and hopeful anticipation!
