February 25 through March 20, 2022

In 1940’s Texas, Carrie Watts, an elderly woman, is trapped in an apartment with a controlling daughter-in-law and a hen-pecked son. Her fondest wish is to revisit Bountiful, the town of her youth, just once before she dies. When her family forbids her to travel on her own, Carrie strikes out anyway. Learning that the trains no longer stop there, she takes a bus instead and runs into a young woman with whom she shares both secrets and memories. On the journey to Bountiful, Carrie rediscovers her inner strength and dignity that will allow her to survive.
