A Murmur in the Trees is an immersive concert experience performed in nature inspired by Emily Dickinson’s poem of the same name. Performances feature the world premiere of a new work for twenty-four double basses by Eve Beglarian and new song setting of Dickinson’s poem by Evan Premo for soprano and two basses. Listeners are encouraged to walk around and explore the music freely.
