"Race"

By David Mamet

Directed by Miguel Girona

A young black woman has been raped and Charles Strickland, a wealthy and well-respected white businessman stands accused. Henry Brown and Jack Lawson, the two partners of their burgeoning law firm-one black and one white- must decide if this case is in their best interest and how best to defend Charles if it is. To do so they seek out the perspective of another young black woman, a junior lawyer at the firm, Susan. As they dig deeper into the facts, they quickly realize that the complexities of power and bias in America are inseparable from the issue of RACE.
