Tidings: A Fractured Christmas Fable
is an original work by Lehigh Valley playwright Brian McDermott.

Tidings: A Fractured Christmas Fable is a holiday show filled with magic, mischief, humor, Santa, angels, long-lost relatives and the childhood hope that everything you wish for will come true on Christmas morning.

Brian McDermott has yet to win his Tony Award but hasn’t given up hope (yet)! He has had one-acts produced at festivals throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Wisconsin. He was a two-time winner of the York Little Theater’s original playwriting competition with his comedies Relationalizing and Third Time Is The Charm.
In 2011 his comedy Even Among Misfits won the Pennsylvania Playhouse’s original artists competition. Rainbow Players Theater Company of Allentown had produced his works Say Uncle and LHIVE. In February of this year his play Your Enemies Closer was produced at the Shawnee Playhouse in the Poconos. He had also been commissioned by Phoebe Ministries of Allentown to adopt the novels Still Alice and Passages In Caregiving into a one-act plays for their annual conferences.
