A big band take on Leonard Bernstein's classic tale of warring street gangs in 1950s Harlem. In 2009, Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra members (and some friends) collaborated to arrange an 11-movement suite that reimagines the immensely popular musical. Radio host and guest narrator Ron Robinson cleverly weaves Bernstein's story through the music for a unique, engaging concert experience not to be missed. A decade later, we're excited to present this show once again!
