Jim Warren (Founding Artistic Director of the American Shakespeare Center and the Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton, VA; current Artistic Director of the American Globe Center that plans to build the world’s first historically accurate re-creation of Shakespeare’s 1614 Globe Theatre in Stratford, CT) explores the ways that Shakespeare used the theatrical environment of his day to make his plays thrilling, funny, in-your-face, and exciting for us today.
