Rochmon Record Club - The Doors' "The Doors"

On Wednesday March 30 at 7pm The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen, learn about The Door’s eponymous debut album “The Doors”.

The Doors greeted the world in 1967 an amazing year for Rock & Roll. The Doors psychedelic sound and charismatic lead singer, Jim Morrison, combined to make “The Doors” one of the best-selling albums of all time. Recorded over 6 days “The Doors” first album, with songs like “Break on Through (To The Other Side)”, “Alabama Song (Whiskey Bar)” and the #1 “Light My Fire”, were on the radio constantly. The Listening Party begins at 7pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon”. We’ll listen to “The Doors” on The Park Theater’s state of the art sound system. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs and stories that went into the making this iconic album. By listening together, we hear the album again for the first time.
