YES WE CAN, say Ocala’s women of the arts as they roll up their sleeves to do battle with Shakespeare! The firm conviction of theatrical troupe director Maggie Dalton and other local ladies is that even with all the boys overseas, they can still put on a firstrate, (almost) all-female production of Henry IV & V. (To borrow from the Bard, all the world’s a stage… even when the world’s at war.) Even in the face of feminine surplus, these womanly warriors remain undaunted and have vowed a victory. Our plucky heroines are keeping the home fires burning and the footlights lit, showing their patriotic colors in a scene never seen before. No doubt a riveting drama is waiting in the wings!
