The bridge between popular folk music and classical compositions is longstanding, bridging classes and cultures. Here, the festival explores a wide range of these connection points with composers including Eastern Europeans Bela Bartok and Erwin Schulhoff, and American composer Florence Price. Enjoy the journey through folk-inspired melodies crafted into concert works from around the globe!
