The unprecedented times we live in, the disconcerting happenings around us, our indifference to these amidst the bustle of daily life, often leaves us wondering what the true calling of our existence is.

"A Clarion Call" is an artistic expression of the turmoil in the minds of the creators of this work . It questions our needs , the causes we fight for, overlooking humanity & the trail we leave behind with our actions or the lack of it .

This performance is presented by New Expressive Works as part of the 2021-22 Curated Residency Series. For the last 18 months, choreographers and dance makers have been invited by NEW to co-design residencies that support their artistic practices, on their own terms. Through this collaborative model of providing a nourishing space and place for their creativity, N.E.W. supports our independent artist community’s sustainability.

OUR COVID POLICY

New Expressive Works is committed to keeping you safe when you attend a live event at our theatre.

Patrons will be asked to show 1) your identification and 2) proof of vaccination OR negative covid test (taken within 48 hours of performance attendance) and identification at their time of entry into the venue with their valid ticket.

All patrons will have to wear a mask throughout the performance and during their time at our venue.
