FROST/NIXON depicts former President Richard Nixon in his first interview since his resignation following the Watergate scandal and the story of how the historic interview came about and how it played out on television, as British talk-show host David Frost elicits the apology from Nixon the rest of the world was waiting to hear. Released as a series of four television episodes, the premiere episode, May 4, 1977, drew 45 million viewers, the largest television audience for a policial interview in history.
