December Light

Surrounded by candlelight, our ensemble of strings, recorders, lute and harpsichord brings a luminous glow to the winter night, with a distinctive blend of Baroque favorites and our own new arrangements of traditional folk music. Corelli's beloved Christmas concerto, a luminescent Bach violin concerto, plus folk tunes from Norway, Provence, Iberia, Bolivia, Huron and Appalachia. Cynthia Miller Freivogel, violin soloist.
