YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU

Performance: Saturday, May 7 - 7pm

Written by: Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman

Presented by: Borelians Community Theatre

The year is 1939. The place is a big, old house in New York City. The Sycamores, a charmingly unique group of family and friends, has happily made its way through the Great Depression. But the long arm of the law is reaching out….

Borelians Community Theatre is proud to present the play that started it all off for them in 1971. This specially priced event is a fundraiser in support of the “Reshaping the Future” renovation project, which, among other things, will restore the historic bell tower and increase accessibility to Town Hall Theatre. Coinciding with the Small Town Big Festival and proudly showcasing local artists, “You Can’t Take It With You” is the perfect way for audiences to show their support for their community.

Join us for an evening of comedy and introspection as this award-winning play is presented as an onstage reading by some of the finest actors in Durham Region.

Tickets: $10 - All Ages
