Beneath Springhill is the incredible story of Maurice Ruddick, “the singing miner,” an African-Canadian who survived nine days underground during the historic Springhill mining disaster of 1958. The play is a celebration of hope, courage and community.

This production contains offensive language.
Though seldomly used in the performance, this language is integral to the historical accuracy of the play.

 

The show runs 75 minutes. There will be no intermission.
