Synopsis: The Revlon Girl is Neil Anthony Docking’s play based on the October 21, 1966 Aberfan tragedy. Fans of Netflix series ‘The Crown’ may recall the episode of that coal mine disaster in Wales and the sadness that befell the town.  Due to the failure of authorities to implement safety measures, a huge pile of coal mine waste developed into a landslide and buried the Pantglas Junior School and numerous village houses. 144 people including 116 children were killed.  The Revlon Girl explores the processes of grief, guilt, and hope. Moving forward through the tears and laughter, the mothers seek a path to a sense of normality and a different type of future.

This play contains adult situations and language and is best suited for those over the age of 16.

The Revlon Girl is presented by special arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
