Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds. He’s a straight-as-an-arrow lawyer and she’s a free spirit always looking for the latest kick. Shortly after moving into their sixth-floor walk-up apartment, they get a surprise visit from Corie’s mother. Corie plans a dinner with Velasco, their neighbor-in-the-attic, and everything that can go wrong does. As Corie sees it, Paul just doesn’t understand her.
