Into the Woods intertwines the plots of several famous Brothers Grimm fairy tales, leaving us to see in new ways what we inherit through the stories we are told growing up.This Broadway musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales, following a quest by a childless baker and his wife to begin a family despite a curse placed on them by a witch. The main characters are taken from "Little Red Riding Hood", "Jack and the Beanstalk", "Rapunzel", and "Cinderella”.

The musical won three major Tony Awards on Broadway and had a very successful Disney film adaptation which grossed over $213 million worldwide and received three nominations at both the Academy Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.
