"Sheila Landis Sings a Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald" will soar to new heights with the addition of world-renowned jazz clarinetist/tenor saxophonist WENDELL HARRISON to her performance of American Songbook classics when she performs at the Hawk in Farmington Hills on Thursday November 3rd at 7 pm. Mr. Harrison is a 2018 Kresge Arts in Detroit Eminent Artist Award Winner. Additionally, Harrison has been on the international jazz scene for decades building an impressive catalog of much-sought-after jazz releases on the Tribe, Rebirth and WenHa labels in addition to touring extensively. Impressively, Harrison has also been recognized by Arts Midwest and the National Endowment for the Arts as a Jazz Master. The complete Thursday Night Jazz Night at the Hawk ensemble on November 3rd will be vocalist Sheila Landis, 7-string guitarist Rick Matle, drummer Butter Hawkins and guest soloist Wendell Harrison.
