By William Shakespeare
Directed by Rese Haus
Assisted by Tyler Mills
Julius Caesar, one of history’s most famous assassination conspiracies, was brought to life through Shakespeare’s words in 1599. But this year’s Shakespeare in the Park will tell a story of fear, pride, paranoia, underground conspiracy, and an inner conflict that leads to the murder of a best friend and beloved hero — and this time, it will be told by all women’s voices. Watch Rome’s most powerful Triumvirate teach us the dangers of both power- hungry villainy and weak-minded naivety — and lots of rad battle scenes. “Let slip the dogs of war!”
