Due to the immersive and environmental nature of this new musical, the tables will be in a unique configuration that is not represented on our typical seating map. However, every seat in the space will have close proximity to the performers.

MATURE LANGUAGE: This world premiere musical includes some mature and colorful language, much like Ben Folds’ lyrics and the real world.

Underground is the most distinct pivot in a season of stylized comedies. This original and immersive musical is based entirely on the music of Ben Folds - who granted permission to Blindspot Collective to use his music. This world premiere blends flashbacks, dance, and complex harmonies to illuminate the histories and inner lives of the regulars down at your local pub. The audience enters UNDERGROUND, a local bar, where they mill with the cast who are there for ‘the big game’; a song begins & welcomes them in, setting the tone. We watch as their lives play out in front of us. Part theatre, part concert, and part drinking game, this modern parable is a celebration of community and resilience as we "learn to live with what we are."
