We’re THRILLED to bring back our hugely popular Star Valley Halloween Extravaganza–an Arts Council fundraising event that will knock your pumpkin socks off!
This fundraiser includes the Pumpkin Walk, and three very special spook alleys to help SPOOK up your family’s Halloween: Spooky Woods, Ghost Maze, and Zombie Zone! We’ll also have some special performances and Halloween “celebrity” appearances, food trucks, and free hot chocolate!
PUMPKIN WALK
People of all ages and skill levels are invited to display their pre-carved pumpkins for the community to enjoy! We’ll string lights through each pumpkin and light ’em up for a truly fun Halloween activity! When we’re done, you can take your pumpkin home. Located along Washington Street by the old information booth.
This year we're offering cash prizes for the best carved pumpkins! We’ll have a “big kids” category (ages 13 to 106) and a “little kids” category (ages 0 to 12), with three prizes of $100, $50, and $25 in each age category.
Carved pumpkins need to be brought to the information booth area (east of the fairgrounds) by 5pm, Friday October 28th, to be displayed and judged. Pumpkins can be picked up after the event on Saturday, October 29th.
SPOOKY WOODS
Hooting owls, a stinky swamp, brooding witches and more will greet you in the Spooky Woods. This is a great area for the whole family, down to your littlest boys and “ghouls.” The Spooky Woods will be spooky, but not scary, bringing you through a fun, interactive Halloween wooded walk. Located in the south exhibit hall.
GHOST MAZE
Something BOO! for 2022…Twist and turn through an all-new SHEET MAZE! Mama Ghost has hung out her sheets to dry and they’ve created a fun and confusing maze to navigate through. Located in the south exhibit hall.
ZOMBIE ZONE
The Zombie Zone will be the place for a real scare! Our zombies will be decked out in gore and tattered clothing. We expect to have over 20 zombies to give you quite a fright! Meet our zombies in the Zombie Zone…if you dare! You may want to keep the little kiddos out of this one. Located in the north exhibit hall.
FOOD AND GOODIES
We’re bringing in several food vendors this year as well! Grab dinner with the family, or buy a little treat to nibble. We’ll also have FREE hot chocolate at our castle display by the Pumpkin Walk area.
TICKETS
Individual and family passes to the Halloween Extravaganza are available using the link below or at the door on the day of the event. We expect lots of people at this event, so get your tickets in advance to beat the lines!
All ticket holders can gain access to the Spooky Woods, Ghost Maze, and Zombie Zone as many times as they’d like on your day of entry. Admission is free to the Pumpkin Walk and free hot chocolate area.
Passes to this fundraising event can be purchased at the door or in advance using the link below. Individual passes are $10 and a family pass is $30 for families up to five. Each pass is only good for use on the day of purchase. We kindly ask families larger than five to purchase multiple family passes, or a family pass with individual passes.
