Caila Carter debuts in The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series with a new, premiere cabet entitled In a Sentimental Mood. This cabaret will showcase Ms. Carter's jazz backgroumd featuring songs from quintessential jazz artists like Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald, as well as modern jazz artists such as Cecile McLorin-Salvant.  Playhouse patrons will remember Caila from her wonderful performance in A Grand Night for Singing and Crazy for Gershwin at The Playhouse, as well numerous productions at The Florida Festival of New Musicals.  Playhouse Musical Director Christopher Leavy will accompany on the piano. This unique form of entertainment showcases a different professional singer each month. A truly "New York-style" cabaret, each performance is approximately 55 minutes in length with no intermission. Doors open at 6:30pm for seating.
