Detour Company Theatre is a wondrous group of heroic folk committed to creating and presenting theatre that celebrates our unique styles of learning, acting and being. For over 20 years Detour has embraced those with disability and sought to ensure programming that is accessible – both sides of the proscenium.
Once again Detour is on tour. This time with the story of Shrek. Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and a host of story book characters are each on a journey that ultimately leads them to own the incredible beauty found in the story of each of their lives. It is a fun, song-filled, and meaningful message for all of us to take into our hearts.
In a move to remove all barriers to performance accessibility, Detour performances are offered free of charge. If you feel moved to do so, donations are always gratefully appreciated.
