22-year-old piano virtuoso Umi Garrett will light up our concert stage in Hudson Hall!

Beginning piano lessons at age 4, she was already in the spotlight by age 8 with her performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Performances include some of the world's major venues: Carnegie Hall, the Boston Pops, and stages in China, Latvia, Italy, Hungary, and Japan. A recent graduate of the Julliard School, Umi's awards include 4th prize at the 2020 National Chopin Competition and 1st prize in Juilliard's concerto competition.
