(Pre-show question and answer session at 6:30 P.M.)
Orvis Auditorium, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa

Named one of the greatest string quartets of the last 100 years by the Britsh Broadcasting Corporation Music Magazine, the Dover Quartet has become one of the most in-demand chamber ensembles in the world. Its members have drawn on the heritage of the Guarneri, Cleveland, and Vermeer quartets, having been mentored extensively at the Curtis Institute of Music and Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music by Shmuel Ashkenasi, James Dunham, Norman Fischer, Kenneth Goldsmith, Joseph Silverstein, Arnold Steinhardt, Michael Tree, and Peter Wiley.

During the 2020–21 season, the Dover Quartet presented more than 25 virtual concerts to audiences across the globe, recorded and produced at Curtis Institute of Music, where they are the Penelope P. Watkins Ensemble in Residence.

PARKING
Parking at the Orvis Auditorium parking lot is $7 and can be paid for with a credit card at the green pay station in the middle of the lot. There are also pay stations across the street in the law school parking lot and the Bachman Hall parking lot.

We recommend that you arrive early to handle parking. Paying at the green pay station in the Orvis lot takes a little while and there is a volleyball game at the arena which may cause some traffic in the area.

BOX OFFICE
If you are picking up Will Call tickets or need assistance with your Mobile or Print At Home tickets, the box office will be open from 6pm. You will need to show the ushers at the door the ticket bar code to enter the auditorium.

If you have any questions, please reply to this email or give us a call at 808-956-8246 and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
