The soul, the intangible member of the body/mind/spirit trinity, enjoys a strong presence in all music making. WNCC's Vocal Music Showcase titled "Then Sings My Soul" explores our human connection with that most ephemeral part of ourselves. Whether it be through old Latin Catholic texts, traditional Protestant Hymns, the words of the Muslim Sufi mystic Rumi, or contemporary poets and philosophers, the evening will feature beautiful lyrical choral singing contrasted with exciting songs you may have heard on the radio just yesterday.
