Corvallis Comedy Night with Dusty Slay

March 5

6 PM

8 PM

Starker Auditorium
Tickets: $16

Though raised in Alabama and now based in Nashville, Dusty Slay is hardly the standard cliché of a “Southern Comedian.” Acting as kind of a midway point between Mitch Hedberg and Jeff Foxworthy, Slay uses razor-sharp writing and a wry sense of self-awareness to give audiences a hilarious look at his trailer park upbringing and people’s assumptions about what it means to be Southern. He has performed his modern brand of down-home humor everywhere from The Tonight Show to CMT to Jimmy Kimmel to Netflix, and also co-hosts the Nateland podcast with fellow Tennessee comic Nate Bargatze. Dusty Slay is one of the best young comedians in any region of the country, and we could not be more excited to welcome him to Corvallis.
