Welcome to the 31st Year! Join us this season as we celebrate “The Next Opus.” This past summer, a glorious 30-year symphony came to a finish. As one chapter ends, the music continues, and the next opus of the festival has just begun to be written. This summer’s festival will feature works that represent the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the composers who wrote them, in the history of music, or in the diversity of voices and cultures represented on stage.
Nestled in beautiful Harrisonburg, VA on native Manahoac land in the Shenandoah Valley, our annual week-long summer festival presents vibrant performances on the Eastern Mennonite University campus and downtown by local artists, the Shenandoah Valley Chamber Orchestra, Baroque Academy Faculty, and Festival Choir. Listeners can attend large and small performances of orchestra and chamber music, family and kids events, poetry readings, music talks, and immersive musical experiences in our parks and nature preserves.
Visit the Bach Festival website for the complete performance schedule. Tickets ARE required for Festival Concerts I, II, & III as well as the Baroque Academy Faculty Concert. Tickets are NOT required for noon recitals or the Sunday Leipzig Service. Tickets available soon!
Please be aware that seating this year is first-come, first-serve. Doors will open one hour prior to the concert start times for seating. Will Call and box office sales will open 2 hours prior to the concert start times.
