Orange Blossoms (1922),
is the last complete operetta composed by Victor Herbert. It features a more modern present day plot, but the work continues Herbert’s championship of the strong, independent woman extracting herself from her own difficulties. This "rom com" play, reimagined by Lyric Theatre as a 1920's radio show, concerns wealthy Baron Roger Belmont, who enters into to a temporary sham marriage to evade the conditions of his aunt’s will—with predictable results!
