Whiteside Live: Silvertongue ft. The Departures and Common Koi
June 30th 8PM
Silvertongue is a Portland-based indie-rock band known for their genre-bending, catchy guitar riffs, and vulnerable story-telling. The group consists of Andrew Stevens (vocals, guitar), Jake Hogan (lead guitar), Dorian Taylor (bass), Melissa Boell (keys) and Joe-Henry McQuary (Drums).
The Departures are a four piece Alternative Rock band originally from Vancouver, Washington. They released their first album, Traffic Patterns in 2019 while graduating high school and set out on their first tour shortly afterward.
Eugene born and raised, Skylar Coy provides poetic lyricism, heavenly vocals, and shredding guitar solos for your mind, body, and soul. Stephen Strong manages the beat realm for the band. His passion and drive are of insurmountable zeal as he aids the group towards self-actualization. Bass goddess Kira Gelbaugh holds the band together both sonically and aesthetically. Her influences span ’50s-’90s rock, funk, punk, and indie; all of which can be found sprinkled amongst the band’s tunes and outfits.
