In this original adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy, Lear, intending to retire, stages a love test for her three daughters. She will portion the kingdom between her heirs according to how much they profess to love her. When the youngest (and favorite) daughter refuses to cooperate with the test, Lear divides her kingdom between the two older daughters, much to the queen's own eventual detriment. Rated PG-13.
