A new take on a holiday classic!

The new Latinx/Latine world premiere Spanish language stage adaptation of "It’s a Wonderful Life" by playwright and director Aisha Rivera, who is also the Napa County’s Poet Laureate. Es Una Vida Marvillosa brings new life into a story about the power of love and community and will be performed in Spanish featuring English subtitles in the performance.

Originally written by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra and Jo Swerling, this beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life with the help of an ensemble that tells the story of Jorgina Becerra and their guardian angel on one fateful Christmas Eve.

La nueva adaptación teatral en español del estreno mundial de la película clásica “It’s a Wonderful Life” de la dramaturga y directora Aisha Rivera, quien también es la Poeta Laureada del Condado de Napa. Este espectáculo trata sobre una aspirante bailarina mexicana de ballet folklorico, su familia, y la comunidad de un pequeño pueblo de California. Es Una Vida Marvillosa da nueva vida a una historia sobre el poder del amor y la comunidad, y se presentará en español y contará con subtítulos en inglés en el teatro principal de Napa Valley College.
