Conciertos de Navidad

Exquisite music to welcome a season of peace, light and joy.

Baroque and traditional music from Bolivia, Italy, and Spain. Highlighting the talents and virtuosity of our full chamber orchestra (strings, guitars, harpsichord and percussion). Featured soloists: Stacey Brady and Brune Macary, violin; Linda Lunbeck, recorder; and Paul Morton, guitar and theorbo.

Animated concertos from Bolivia set the tone for a varied program featuring rustic sounds of pifferari (wandering musicians at Christmas time), Spanish dance rhythms, original improvisations, and a lively Galician carol arranged especially for this concert!
