Detroit Sound Conservancy, the music archive devoted to the preservation and celebration of Detroit music, is proud to present Gayelynn McKinney at The Hawk. McKinney is an accomplished jazz drummer, who has toured the world and is the last drummer to tour with Aretha Franklin. The band, McKinney Zone, is an intergenerational group of musicians, who bring excitement and Detroit passion to every performance.
