A Funny Workshop 

With Award-Winning Clown And Sleepyhead creator Gemma Soldati

Discover your inner clown and learn the tips and tricks of comedy in this workshop of fun.

Using clown, physical games, and improvisation, we'll explore our imagination, joy, and the fundamentals of performance.

This workshop will help you gain confidence on stage and in life and experience the thrill of creating something new in a collaborative way.


This class is for kids of all experience levels who are ready to get silly in a supportive environment.

Taught By Gemma Soldati 
Gemma Soldati is a performing and teaching artist based in New Hampshire. She has taught in Los Angeles, New England, Chicago, and Toronto for both adults and children. She is currently the Artist in Residence at Kimball Jenkins in Concord, NH and a regular teaching artist for Arts in Reach.Gemma’s focus is clown inspired work developed in front of live audiences. Her projects playfully dive deep into the heart of vital themes probing audiences with questions and meaning making.
Her current show, The Adventures of Sleepyhead was developed at the New Hampshire Theatre Project and had a successful run with critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe at Assembly in 2022. Sleepyhead has also been adapted as a short video series for NHPBS with support from the New Hampshire Humanities. The videos won her Best Performance at the 2022 NH Film Festival.
