Two Violins vs Violin/Viola duos

Two Violins or Violin Viola duo - which combination is your favorite? Composers have been writing for these two combinations of instruments for hundreds of years, many of which are very famous. We will be alternating between pieces for two violins and pieces for violin and viola. We are sure that you will recognize a few, and hear a few new ones along the way, ranging from Bach to Shostakovich.
